Kat Jackson is giving up her duties as morning co-host at iHeartMedia Hot AC 98.1 WKDD Munroe Falls/Akron and midday host at Classic Hits 105.7 WMJI Cleveland.
The Akron Beacon-Journal reports that Jackson is “transitioning to an off-air role within iHeartMedia, producing commercials for our stations across the country and that will become her primary role.” Regional SVP/Programming Keith Kennedy, who hosts mornings on WKDD with Jackson, notes that she will remain with him on that station for the time being while transitioning to the new position.
At WMJI, Jackson was replaced today by iHeartMedia’s new national midday show hosted by Martha Quinn.
