Former “Fun 101.3” WROZ-FM Lancaster PA morning host Dennis Mitchell has joined Cumulus Media Classic Hits 96.1 WSOX Red Lion as afternoon host.
Mitchell hosted mornings on WROZ-FM with Michelle Cruz from 2007 until the closing of its sale to Educational Media Foundation at the end of September. He has spent the majority of his career in the Harrisburg/Lancaster/York region with eight years in mornings on Country “Z107” WRKZ turned “Cat Country 106.7” WCAT-FM and just shy of three years as PD/morning host at CHR “FM 97” WLAN-FM.
Mitchell takes the afternoon slot that had been held by Michael ‘Fuzzy’ Summers, who retired at the end of 2021. Summers had served as Production Director and afternoon host at WSOX since 1998 after seventeen years in middays at Country “Z107” WRKZ Hershey.
