Cumulus Media has ceased operations and turned in the license of 1580 KXZZ Lake Charles LA.
The 1kW AM began operations in 1947 as KLOU before taking on the KXZZ call letters in 1985. The station has operated as “Sports Radio 1580” carrying the national CBS Sports Radio lineup since the network’s launch in January 2013. It previously was R&B Oldies as “Z16“.
