WMVP Promotes Danny Zederman to Director of Content

Good Karma Brands Sports “ESPN 1000” WMVP Chicago has announced the promotion of Danny Zederman to Director of Content.

Zederman has been with WMVP since 2006 serving as Executive Producer for multiple shows, most recently the “Kap & J.Hood” morning show. He has also had stints at Newsweb as Operations Manager and as a producer at 670 WSCR.

Good Karma Brands (GKB) and ESPN 1000 are excited to name Danny Zederman as the station’s new Director of Content. Zederman will join the leadership team as a 15-year veteran of ESPN 1000 and will bring fresh and unique ideas to the station’s overall content strategy.

Zederman, who will be leaving his current role as Executive Producer of Kap & J.Hood said, “I’m grateful to Good Karma Brands for the opportunity and am excited to work alongside ESPN 1000’s Market Manager, Keith Williams, to lead and collaborate with our talented teammates and partners.” He continued, “my goal is to continue entertaining our fans, grow the ESPN Chicago brand on all platforms and add value to the community.”

Zederman was the executive producer for multiple highly successful ESPN 1000 shows, including “Silvy & Carmen”, “Mac, Jurko & Harry”, “Carmen & Jurko”, and most recently “Kap & J. Hood”. He began his career in radio in 2002 as the Operations Manager at WSBC, WCSN, WNDZ, and WCFJ Radio. Before joining ESPN 1000 in 2006, Danny was an Executive Producer at WSCR 670 “The Score”.

He will begin the new role as Director of Content on January 3, 2022.
