iHeartMedia Alternative “94.5 The Buzz” KTBZ-FM Houston will make some adjustments to its on-air at the start of the new year.
Longtime midday host Theresa will move to afternoons from 2-7pm succeeding AD Rowntree in the timeslot. Production Director/weekend host Jeremy Benson will move to Theresa’s vacated weekend shift.
Rowntree, who has been on KTBZ-FM since 2004, has exited to care for his ailing father in Macedonia. He was most recently based in Las Vegas as APD/afternoon host at “93.1 The Mountain” KYMT and also previously served as APD/MD/midday host at “Rock 105.3” KIOZ San Diego, evening host at Classic Rock “93.7 The River” KYRV Sacramento and hosted a talk show heard on many of iHeartMedia’s Hot Talk stations across the country.
Theresa has also been with KTBZ-FM since 2004 after previously working at KRBZ and KYYS Kansas City. Benson has spent his entire career at the station starting as an intern in 2011.
