Curtis Media has extended its Spanish CHR “La Ley” brand to Goldsboro and Kinston NC as the company flips Gospel 730 WFMC/105.7 W289CG Goldsboro and 1010 WWMC/92.9 W225CD Kinston to a simulcast of 101.1 WYMY Burlington, which covers both the Raleigh/Durham and Greensboro/Winston-Salem markets.
“La Ley” had previously been heard in the Goldsboro and Kinston areas on 96.9 WYMY Goldsboro from 2003 to 2013. The brand originated on that signal before adding a simulcast on 101.1 in April 2012 before the 96.9 signal broke away to Adult R&B and then CHR.
