Audacy News/Talk 1140 WRVA/96.1 W241AP Richmond VA morning host John Reid has resigned in order to run for Lt. Governor of Virginia.
Reid joined WRVA in December 2017 from a federal position at the Veterans Administration and SiriusXM’s Conservative Talk “Patriot” where he hosted nights. He had a long run in Richmond as a television investigative reporter and morning news anchor at WRIC from 1994-2004.
WRVA has yet to announce its plans for the morning show.
