Nielsen begins its monthly release of PPM ratings with today’s Day 1 update including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston/Galveston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Long Island, Riverside/San Bernardino, San Jose, and Middlesex/Somerset/Union.

Also released today were the Fall ratings for Albany GA, Ann Arbor, Beaumont/Port Arthur, Bloomington IL, Brunswick, Dothan, Killeen/Temple, Montgomery, Peoria, Quad Cities, Salisbury/Ocean City, Savannah, and Springfield MO.
New York
iHeartMedia AC “106.7 Lite-FM” registers a 13.1 share down from its station record 14.3 in Holiday 2023. Beasley AC “Magic 98.3” WMGQ adds an additional 1.0 share of Christmas music.
Three stations tie for second with MediaCo Adult R&B 107.5 WBLS down 6.0 to 5.1, Spanish Broadcasting System Spanish Tropical “Mega 97.9” WSKQ holding at a 5.1 share, and Audacy News 1010 WINS/92.3 WINS-FM up 4.8 to 5.1 (stream adds 0.5) for what Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is the best for WINS since April 2020. iHeartMedia CHR “Z100” WHTZ continues its downward trend 5.7 – 5.4 – 4.9 – 4.7.
iHeartMedia Classic Rock “Q104.3” WAXQ drops 5.5 to 4.5. Audacy Hot AC “New 102.7” WNEW is down 4.9 to 4.3 but its stream is broken out for the first time with a 0.5 share. iHeart Hot AC 103.5 WKTU dips 3.6 to 3.1.
Red Apple Media Conservative Talk 770 WABC drops 4.4 to 3.7. Univision Spanish Rhythmic “X96.3” WXNY-FM fals 3.0 to 2.2.
Los Angeles
iHeartMedia AC 103.5 KOST trends down from a 13.1 Holiday share in 2022, 12.6 in 2023, and 12.4 this year. And that’s with Mount Wilson FM Broadcasting’s “Go Country 105” KKGO-FM not going all-Christmas this year.
Audacy Classic Hits “K-Earth 101” KRTH is down 5.5 to 4.7. iHeart CHR 102.7 KIIS-FM is off 4.8 to 4.6. iHeart Hot AC “104.3 My-FM” KBIG drops 4.8 to 4.2. Univision Spanish AC “107.5 K-Love” KLVE dips 4.1 to 3.9.
Classical 91.5 KUSC continues its trend up 2.3 – 3.0 – 3.6 for what Huff notes is a new station record high.
Univision Regional Mexican “La Nueva 101.9” KSCA slides 4.1 – 3.9 – 3.2. Taxi Productions Adult R&B 102.3 KJLH is down 2.1 to 1.6. Meruelo Media Hip Hop “Power 106” KPWR is down 1.6 to 1.4.
After having a 2.5 share with Christmas music in 2023, Mount Wilson FM Broadcasters’ “Go Country 105” KKGO-FM had a 2.4 share without.
Chicago
iHeartMedia Soft AC “93.9 Lite-FM” WLIT registers a 12.5 share down from its record high of 16.0 in 2023.
Audacy News 780 WBBM/105.9 WCFS is down 6.2 to 5.7. iHeart Adult R&B “V103” WVAZ rises 5.0 to 5.2. Hubbard Classic Rock “97.1 The Drive” WDRV slides 6.5 – 5.6 – 5.1. Cumulus Classic Hits 94.7 WLS-FM Drops 4.7 to 3.7.
Hubbard Hot AC “101.9 The Mix” WTMX is up 2.7 to 3.3. Audacy Country “US 99” WUSN falls 4.4 to 3.2, while sister AAA 93.1 WXRT is down 4.1 to 3.1, but its stream is broken out separately with a 0.8.
Audacy Rhythmic Throwbacks “104.3 Jams” WBMX slides 2.3 – 2.0 – 1.8, which Huff says is the lowest share on the frequency since Holiday 2013 when it was Classic Hits “K-Hits 104.3” WJMK.
Dallas/Fort Worth
iHeartMedia AC “Star 102.1” KDGE is off slightly from a 10.3 share in 2023 to a 10.1 this year. Salem Christian AC 94.9 KLTY is down from a 4.6 share in 2023 to a 3.6.
Cumulus Sports “The Ticket” 1310 KTCK/96.7 KTCK-FM holds at a 5.7 share, while sister “New Country 96.3” KSCS drops 5.5 to 4.6. Audacy Variety Hits “100.3 Jack-FM” KJKK is steady at a 4.4 share. Public News/Talk 90.1 KERA-FM (4.5 to 4.0) and iHeartMedia CHR “106.1 Kiss-FM” KHKS-FM (4.3 to 4.0) tie for fifth.
Univision Regional Mexican “Que Buena 94.1” KLNO slides 4.9 – 4.4 – 3.7. Mediaco Regional Mexican “La Raza 93.7” KNOR rises 1.2 to 1.9. Univision Spanish Rhythmic “Latino Mix 107.9/107.1” KDXX/KESS slides 2.4 – 1.8 – 1.6.

First Dallas Media Christian AC 90.9 KCBI-FM rises 2.4 to 2.9. K-Love Inc. Worship “Air 1” 101.7 KYDA ends its record high streak with a 3.5 to 2.7 drop. Hope Media Group Christian AC “Way-FM” 89.7 KAWA gains 1.2 to 1.8.
A pair of heritage AMs set new record low shares. Cumulus Media’s 820 WBAP/93.3 WBAP-FM drops from a 1.6 to a 1.1 share. Audacy’s 1080 KRLD is down 1.1 to 0.9.
San Francisco
Bonneville AC 96.5 KOIT keeps trending down from a 15.5 in 2022 to 14.1 in 2023 to 11.6 this year.
Public News/Talk 88.5 KQED-FM drops 10.1 to 9.5. Audacy News 740 KCBS/106.9 KFRC rises 6.1 to 6.4. Classical 90.3 KDFC drops 6.3 to 5.4. Bonneville CHR “99.7 Now” KMVQ inches up 4.4 to 4.5.

Cumulus’ move of Conservative Talk KSFO from 560 to 810 sees 810 rise 0.7 to 1.1, while 560 is down 1.6 to 0.8.

iHeartMedia AC “Sunny 99.1” KODA rises from a 13.7 last year to 14.7, which matches its station record high set in 2022. Hope Media Group Christian AC 89.3 KSBJ places second overall in the market with its 6.3 share slightly down from a 6.5 in 2023.
Radio One’s duo of Classic Rock “107.5/106.9 The Eagle” KGLK/KHPT (5.9 to 5.5) and Adult R&B “Majic 102.1” KMJQ (5.8 to 5.5) tie for third. iHeart Rock/Alternative “94.5 The Buzz” KTBZ-FM dips 5.3 to 4.9.
Public News/Talk 89.7 KUHF-FM jumps up 3.4 to 4.2. Houston Christian Broadcasters Christian Preaching 105.7 KHCB-FM falls 2.7 – 2.1 – 1.3.
Radio One Country “93Q” KKBQ trends down 5.6 – 5.0 – 4.7. Audacy’s “100.3 The Bull” KILT-FM climbs 3.0 to 3.7.
MediaCo Regional Mexican “La Raza 98.5/101.7” KTJM/KNTE trends up 2.0 – 2.6 – 3.2.
With its flip from Gospel to Regional Mexican “La Ley 92.1” taking place midway through the monthly, SBS’s KROI drops 1.6 to 0.8.

Salem Media Group Christian AC “104.7 The Fish” WFSH-FM places second overall in the market with its 6.9 share down from its 10.5 in 2023.
Cox News/Talk 750 WSB/95.5 WSBB is down 9.1 to 8.1 to remain the Atlanta market lead. Radio One Adult R&B “Majic 107.5/97.5” WAMJ/WUMJ dips 6.7 to 6.5 to place third. Cox Classic Rock “97.1 The River” WSRV is down 7.1 to 6.3, while sister Adult R&B “Kiss 104.1” WALR falls 7.8 to 5.9.
Audacy Rhythmic AC “Star 94” WSTR jumps up 2.3 to 3.7.
Cumulus’ “New Country 101.5” WKHX is up 2.7 to 3.0 to overtake iHeartMedia’s “94.9 The Bull” WUBL as its slides 3.7 – 3.2 – 2.8.
Core Radio Group Hip Hop “Streetz 94.5” 1510 WWSZ trends up 1.6 – 1.9 – 2.2 for its best share since July 2023. iHeartMedia’s “96.1 The Beat” WRDG swings down 2.0 – 3.4 – 2.4.

Audacy AC “B101” WBEB drops from the 16.8 share it had in both 2022 and 2023 to a mere 15.7 share.
iHeartMedia Adult R&B 105.3 WDAS-FM is off 8.1 to 8.0. Audacy Sports 94.1 WIP holds at a 7.3 share, while its stream holds at a 1.7. Beasley Media Rock 93.3 WMMR is down 8.3 to 7.2, while sister Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK dips 7.0 to 6.7.
Audacy News 1060 KYW/103.9 WPHI is up 3.9 to 4.3 with its stream adding a 1.2 to 1.0 drop. With its “Top 885 Songs of the 2000s Countdown”, AAA 88.5 WXPN trends up 2.0 – 2.4 – 2.7.

Audacy News 1010 WINS/92.3 WINS-FM drops 7.1 to 6.0, but its stream rises 1.2 to 1.6. Cox Classic Rock 102.3 WBAB/95.3 WHFM is down 6.4 to 5.7. Both CHRs tie for fifth with Cox’s 106.1 WBLI down 4.6 to 4.3 (stream holding at 0.6) and iHeart’s “Z100” WHTZ down 4.8 to 4.3.
