Rob Bertand Joins Inrush Broadcast Services

Rob Bertrand Inrush WAMU WCBSBroadcast technology services and systems integration provider Inrush Broadcast Services has announced the addition of Rob Bertrand as a partner to lead the company’s growth on the East Coast and in public media.

Bertrand most recently served as Senior Director of Technology for WAMU Washington DC from 2016 until 2024 where he led construction of DC’s largest community antenna system, launched critical multiplatform content management systems, modernization of their traffic, automation, and CRM platforms, and shift of the station to 100% remote production during the pandemic. He began his career as a staff engineer for WCTC/WMGQ New Brunswick NJ before spending over a decade at CBS Radio New York rising to Chief Engineer in 2010. During his tenure he led the relocation of the studios and newsroom of 880 WCBS as well as the technological build-out of the CBS Sports Radio Network. He has also served as a GM, Chief Engineer and advisor to Rutgers University’s “90.3 The Core” WVPH Piscataway NJ.

Bertrand joins current partners Mike Dorris, Brian Sapp, Shaun Dolan, and Cameron Boswell in leading Inrush’s 14-person team.
