Olivia Trusty Nominated To FCC

Olivia Trusty FCCPresident-elect Donald Trump has nominated Senate staffer Olivia Trusty to fill the fifth spot on the FCC.

If confirmed, Trusty, who is currently a staffer for Mississippi Senator Roger Wicker, will fill the fifth spot at the FCC being vacated by outgoing chair Jessica Rosenworcel. Trusty is currently policy director on the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation.

Trump wrote on Truth Social, “Olivia will work with our incredible new Chairman of the FCC, Brendan Carr, to cut regulations at a record pace, protect Free Speech, and ensure every American has access to affordable and fast internet.”
