talkSPORT to broadcast India versus New Zealand Test series

talkSPORT is expanding its international cricket coverage to exclusively air India’s Test series against New Zealand.

The two Test series starts on Thursday November 25 and is the first time the two sides have met in the format since The ICC World Test Championship final at Southampton in June, with all coverage on talkSPORT 2.

The talkSPORT team includes two-time England Ashes winner Steve Harmison, former England spinner Gareth Batty, former Indian Premier League cricketer Abhishek Jhunjhunwala, talkSPORT Cricket Editor Jon Norman and cricket broadcasters Jarrod Kimber and Neil Manthorp.

Head of talkSPORT Lee Clayton said: “We’re delighted to be extending our international cricket coverage following our award-winning output of England’s overseas tours. There is a big fan base for these sides in the UK and talkSPORT’s team will deliver all the preview, reaction, live action and analysis from the series.”

talkSPORT’s Steve Harmison said: “Right in between the T20 World Cup and The Ashes, this series is unfinished business and promises to produce some top cricket between two of the world’s best sides. Every series involving India is an event and this has to be the best New Zealand side in history. We will be there for all the insight and analysis for listeners.”

Listeners can also get extra content from the series from talkSPORT’s daily Following On podcast, as well as talkSPORT 2’s Cricket Collective show on talkSPORT 2 which airs every Tuesday.
