Longtime Phoenix Sports talkers Mike ‘Roc’ Muraco and Dan ‘Manuch’ Manucci are moving from iHeartMedia’s “Fox Sports 910” KGME to Bonneville’s “ESPN 620” KTAR starting Monday, January 6.
Remaining in their current 1-4pm timeslot, the show also features Jim Brinson. The duo have been teamed together since 2004 moving across the market starting on Bonneville’s then “ESPN 860” KMVP before moving to 1060 KDUS from 2005-17 and before moving to “1580 The Fanatic” KQFN in 2017 where Muraco was VP of Sales and Programming. The show then moved to KGME in September 2019. The duo have also hosted a weekend show on Sporting News Radio and briefly hosted afternoons on SB Nation Radio in 2019. Their final show on KGME was last Friday, December 20.
Muraco has been a Sports talk host in Phoenix since 1997, while also holding sports marketing and PR roles at multiple NFL and MLB franchises. Manucci was a Quarterback in the NFL, CFL, and USFL in the early 1980s and has held broadcasting roles with local professional, collegiate, and high school football broadcasts.
Bonneville Phoenix SVP/Market Manager Ryan Hatch said, “Our commitment to delivering local, compelling, multichannel content to Valley sports fans could not be stronger. Roc and Manuch have built a loyal following in the Valley over the two decades and we are excited to add their show to the ESPN 620 lineup.”
Muraco commented, “”We can’t wait to bring our show to one of the biggest signals in the Southwest. ESPN 620, Arizona Sports 98.7, and ArizonaSports.com dominate the market when it comes to local sports coverage, and we are thrilled to be joining the team.”
KTAR will continue to carry ESPN Radio network programming and overflow from sister “Arizona Sports 98.7” KMVP-FM in other dayparts.
