Lotus Communications has appointed Andre Riley as General Manager of its three stations in Seattle.
It marks a return to radio for Riley as he began his career in sales for Bonneville, Fisher Communications, and Entercom in the market, rising to General Sales Manager for Fisher from 2000 to 2003 and Entercom from 2003 to 2008. The former University of Washington wide receiver then returned to the university as VP/GM overseeing corporate partnerships for the athletic department and then held a similar role for USC Sports Properties from 2016-18. He has been working in Seattle real estate since 2018.
Riley will oversee Lotus’ trio of Conservative Talk 570 KVI, “Northwest NewsRadio” 1000 KNWN/97.7 KNWN-FM, and Classic Country “101.5 Hank-FM” KPLZ-FM. He succeeds Kane Biscaya, who had been leading the Seattle cluster in addition to 670 KIRN Simi Valley/Los Angeles since April 2023.
