Audacy Makes Alternative Lineup Changes In Dallas & Kansas City As Klein & Ally Go Back To Los Angeles Only

Audacy has pulled back on the regionalization of shows at two of its Alternative stations.

The Klein/Ally Show based at 106.7 KROQ Los Angeles will only be heard in its home market going forward as it has been dropped at “Alt 96.5” KRBZ Kansas City and “Alt 103.7” KVIL Dallas. The show had also been heard at “Alt 105.3” KITS San Francisco until its format change last month.

The moves continued at KVIL as the KRBZ based “Church of Lazlo” has been dropped from afternoons as the station is moving a music intensive presentation. KVIL is currently running jockless in both mornings and afternoons. The Church of Lazlo will continue to be heard on KRBZ plus “Alt 98.7” WDZH Detroit and “Alt 107.5” KXTE Las Vegas.

Ian Camfield, who previously hosted afternoons on KVIL from January through September 2020, returned to the station in middays last month to replace outgoing PD Bailey. Camfield spent much of his career at “104.9 Xfm” London over two stints from 1997-2007 and 2009-2015. He hosted afternoons “92.3 K-Rock” WXRK New York in between and has also hosted mornings at “93.3 Alt AZ” KDKB Phoenix.
