Nielsen Audio has released Day 2 of its monthly four day sweep of ratings in PPM markets.

Today’s releases include Washington DC, Boston, Seattle, Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Denver, San Diego, Baltimore, and St. Louis.

Washington DC

97.1 WASH-FM Washington DC Loo KatzPublic News/Talk 88.5 WAMU is down slightly 11.8 to 11.7. Hubbard News 103.5 WTOP is as well 9.1 to 8.9. Howard University Adult R&B 96.3 WHUR drops 8.5 to 7.6. iHeartMedia AC 97.1 WASH rises 4.5 – 5.1 – 5.9. Classical 90.9 WETA-FM rises 4.2 to 4.4.

Cumulus Media Conservative Talk 105.9 WMAL is up 3.6 to 4.1. Audacy Classic Hits “94.7 The Drive” WIAD is down 4.0 to 3.3.

Radio One Gospel “Praise 104.1” WPRS-FM rises 2.3 to 3.4, while sister Hip Hop 93.9 WKYS slides 3.0 – 2.2 – 2.0.

Boston

100.7 WZLX Boston Chris Tyler WMMSBeasley Media’s “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM maintains its lead up 8.3 to 8.5. Audacy Hot AC “Mix 104.1” WWBX is back up 5.6 to 6.1. iHeartMedia Classic Rock 100.7 WZLX jumps up 4.5 to 5.9 for its best showing since January 2023. Beasley Media Classic Hits 105.7 WROR drops into a three-way tie for fourth down 7.1 to 5.8, while Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX is down 6.3 to 5.8 with its stream down 1.1 to 0.5 and iHeart News 1030 WBZ rises 4.4 – 5.5 – 5.8.

Classical 99.5 WCRB trends up 2.9 – 3.4 – 3.8.

Hubbard Rock 97.9 KUPD is down 4.6 to 4.1 to tie with iHeart Variety Hits “95.5 The Mountain” KYOT, which holds at a 4.1 share.

Audacy Country 107.9 KMLE climbs 2.5 – 3.4 – 3.9 to overtake iHeart’s 102.5 KNIX as it goes 3.6 to 3.7. iHeart CHR “104.7 Kiss-FM” KZZP though rises 1.8 to 2.5 to move ahead of Audacy’s “Live 101.5” KALV-FM’s 2.6 to 2.2 dip.

Public News/Talk 91.5 KJZZ-FM drops 4.5 to 3.7. Entravision Regional Mexican “La Tricolor 103.5” KLNZ slides 3.4 – 2.7 – 2.5.

Detroit

Hubbard Hot AC “KS 95” KSTP-FM rises 6.1 to 7.1. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “Kool 108” KQQL continues its downward trend 8.4 – 7.9 – 7.4 – 6.8.

iHeartMedia CHR 101.3 KDWB slides 6.2 – 5.0 – 4.8, with sister Country “K102” KEEY down 5.0 – 4.8 – 4.0.

Hot 101.5 The Vibe WPOI WTBV St. Petersburg TampaCox Media Group takes the top three spots in a market which saw the first few days of the monthly affected by the impact of Hurricane Milton. Soft AC 105.5 WDUV was down 10.7 to 9.4. Adult R&B “101.5 The Vibe” WTBV-FM jumped up 5.4 to 6.7 for what Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is a new all-time record high for the facility. Classic Rock “107.3 The Eagle” WXGL was third 4.5 – 5.2 – 5.4. Beasley Country 99.5 WQYK is down for the fourth straight month 5.6 to 5.3. iHeartMedia AC “Mix 100.7” WMTX dips 5.4 to 5.2.

iHeartMedia Country “US 103.5” WFUS slides 6.3 – 6.0 – 5.3 – 5.1.

Beasley Spanish CHR “92.5 Maxima” WYUU jumps up 2.7 to 3.9. Beasley Rhythmic CHR “Wild 94.1” WLLD is down 4.6 to 3.9. iHeart CHR 93.3 WFLZ rises 2.7 – 3.0 – 3.3.

iHeart’s recently upgraded Spanish CHR “Rumba 95.7” WRUB gains 1.2 to 2.3.

Denver

KS 107.5 KQKS DenverBonneville’s duo of AC 101.1 KOSI (up 6.6 to 7.1) and Country 98.5 KYGO (down 7.4 to 7.1) tie for the Denver lead. KSE Media Classic Hits “Kool 105” KXKL is up 6.1 to 6.2. Audacy Hot AC “Alice 105.9” KALC is down 6.2 to 5.8 with sister Classic Rock “99.5 The Mountain” KQMT up 4.8 to 5.1.

iHeartMedia Alternative “Channel 93.3” KTCL rebounds 4.5 to 5.0. iHeart News/Talk 850/94.1 KOA drops 4.4 to 3.4.

Following its move to a gold-based presentation, Audacy Rhythmic Hot AC “KS 107.5” KQKS-FM rises 2.3 – 2.5 – 3.0. The morning show changes at KSE Media Hot AC “Mix 100” KIMN takes it down 3.6 – 3.1 – 2.8 to what Huff notes is its lowest share since Holiday 2015.

KSE Media Sports “Altitude 92.5” KKSE-FM rises 1.3 – 1.9 – 2.2. iHeartMedia Rock 107.9 KBPI gains 1.0 – 1.7 – 1.9.

San Diego

Sunny 98.1 KXSN San DiegoAudacy Classic Hits “Sunny 98.1” KXSN rises 6.2 to 7.3 to claim sole possession of the market lead. Public News/Talk 89.5 KPBS-FM rises 5.6 to 6.1. Local Media San Diego’s duo of Variety Hits “100.7 Big-FM” KFBG (5.4 to 5.5) and Rhythmic AC “Magic 92.5” XHRM-FM (5.1 to 5.5) tie for third. Univision Regional Mexican “Que Buena 94.1” KLNV is down 6.0 to 5.4.

With the Padres season over, Audacy Sports “97.3 The Fan” KWFN falls from first 6.2 to 2.8.

Public News/Talk 88.1 WYPR rises 4.6 to 5.6 for its largest share since January 2022.

Audacy Sports “105.7 The Fan” WJZ-FM rises 3.3 – 3.8 – 4.7. iHeartMedia Variety Hits “102.7 Jack-FM” WQSR gains 3.8 to 4.7.

WCBM Maryland Inc. Conservative Talk 680 WCBM rises 2.7 – 3.2 – 3.4 for its best share since March 2022.

AAA 89.7 WTMD is up 2.3 – 2.6 – 2.9. Shamrock Classic Rock “100.7 The Bay” WZBA drops 3.7 to 2.8.
