Randy Markel’s Markel Entertainment sells Sports “590 The Fan” KFNS Wood River IL/St. Louis to Dave Zobrist’s Zobrist Media for $450,000.
Zobrist has worked at KFNS as Billing Manager and Event Coordinator since May 2018. The deal has been in the works for months and was first reported by the St. Louis Post Dispatch in August when GM/host John Hadley resigned due to “poor communications between Hadley and Zobrist on financial matters involving unconventional deals arranged by Hadley.”
A Time Brokerage Agreement took effect on October 15.
