iHeartMedia has announced the appointments of Steve DeLusant as the new Region President for New York and Adam Kurtz as Region President for Chicago.
Both will report to Division President Bernie Weiss, who led the the New York market until his promotion in December 2023.
DeLusant has been with iHeartMedia New York since 2013 serving as Sales Manager for WHTZ, WKTU and WWPR, rose to Vice President of Sales in 2016 and VP/Director of FM Sales in 2018. He also previously served as an Account Manager for Emmis New York.
Kurtz takes the Chicago reins that had been held by Matt Scarano until his exit in this week’s layoffs. Kurtz has been with the company since 2001 rising through the ranks from account executive to Local Sales Manager, General Sales Manager, VP/Sales and since January 2018 as SVP/Sales.
Weiss comments, “I’m thrilled to promote both Steve and Adam. It’s especially rewarding to find the best candidates for key leadership roles in your own buildings. They’re extremely knowledgeable about our ever-evolving business and have built some of the best media sales teams in the country.
