KQYZ Moves Into Grand Forks

Christmas 98.5 99.1 KQYZ Grand ForksJordan Zeller’s Valley Broadcasting completed its move of 99.1 KQYZ Emerado ND into the Grand Forks ND market with a frequency change as “Christmas 98.5“ at 5pm on Wednesday, October 30.

In addition to Christmas music, the station is currently airing North Dakota State University and Green Bay Packers football. The move comes as the station completed its upgrade from a 100 watt Class A on 99.1 to a 9kW/102m Class C3 with the company stating it now provides a strong signal to approximately 110,000 residents of Grand Forks, East Grand
Forks, Crookston, the Grand Forks Air Force Base and the northern Red River Valley.
