Spalding Grammar School’s radio station needs your help

Tower Radio, which was was launched by students at Spalding Grammar School about two years ago, is appealing for help.

The idea to start the station was partly inspired by former headteacher Mr. Wilkinson, who officially opened its studio – an old storage cupboard transformed to meet the station’s needs – before moving on to pastures new.

After returning from the recent half term break, it was discovered that a large water tank above the studio had burst, flooding the space, leaving it unable to be used.

Unfortunately, all the equipment was submerged and is unrepairable. The discovery on Monday morning was a shock to everyone involved, but the students and staff are determined to get back on air as soon as possible.

To make this happen, the students urgently need your support. If you have any old equipment that you no longer use, your donation could make a significant difference in helping them get back off the ground.

If you can help, or would like more information, email: info@towerradio.co.uk so radio stars of the future can get their station back on the air.
