Sound Radio celebrates its first year on air

Liverpool’s Sound Radio is celebrating it’s first anniversary of being on air.

The station launched one year ago today on DAB across the city and boasts at being 100% local for daytime shows and during its dance weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Station Director Dan Roach said: “Sound launched to give scousers back exactly what they want – loads of tunes and presenters who are passionate about Liverpool.

“I’m very proud of our team because I know just how hard we work. A huge thank you to our listeners and advertisers too – let’s do year two!”
