Glenn Kalina To Retire From WOGL Mornings

After two years in mornings at Audacy Classic Hits 98.1 WOGL Philadelphia, Glenn Kalina will retire on Friday, November 5 ending a 51 year radio career.

Kalina joined WOGL in November 2019 continuing a run in Philadelphia that started at “Wizzard 100” 990 WZZD in 1978. He worked at 610 WIP and then “Hot Hits 98.1” WCAU-FM through its format change to WOGL in 1987. Kalina would join “Q102” WIOQ and rise through the ranks to OM and PD during his eleven year stint there before moving to mornings at Rock AC “Alice 104.5” WLCE in 1999. Kalina would also host mornings at Hot AC’s “Mix 95.7” WMWX and “Now 97.5” WNUW in the 2000s while also spending time at Sirius, FMQB, and programming Beasley Classic Hits 100.1 WJRZ Manahawkin NJ.
