Cox Media Group Hip Hop “99 Jamz” WEDR Miami has added Reach Media’s “The Morning Hustle” to its lineup.
The current iteration of the syndicated morning show has featured Kyle Santillian and Monica ‘Lore’l’ Torres since March 2023. The addition of WEDR brings the show to 28 markets.
Cox Miami Operations Director Phil Michaels-Trueba said, “We’re excited to welcome the Morning Hustle and their dynamic host personalities, Kyle Santillian and Lore’l, to Cox Media Group Miami family on our iconic brand, 99 JAMZ, Miami’s #1 for Hip Hop and R&B. We have a longstanding partnership and track record of success with ReachMedia, and this is another opportunity to partner with them with one of our most important brands serving our community and audiences.”
Reach Media VP/Affiliate Relations Melody Talkington added, “Reach Media is very excited to expand our 20+ year Cox Media partnership with the addition of the Morning Hustle on the iconic WEDR-FM in Miami. The Morning Hustle continues to grow and reach new heights in the mainstream urban arena – Kyle and L’orel will wake up South Florida with their unique chemistry and entertain listens every weekday morning.”
With the addition of The Morning Hustle, former morning host DJ Nasty 305 moves to afternoons. K Foxx will continue in middays while the “Turn Up Partna’s” SHE-J Hercules and DJ Lucky C move from late nights to nights with DJ Entice exiting. The lineup changes complete the revamp following the departures of afternoon host Julezz in May and morning co-host ‘Supa Cindy’ Douce in June.
