Audacy Alternative 106.7 KROQ-FM Pasadena/Los Angeles is debuting a new show dedicated to electronic music.
“KROQ EQ” will air on Saturday nights from 11pm to 2am featuring a mix of styles—including house, future bass, electro, and big beat, among others—for fans of Coachella’s Sahara Tent, HARD Summer, Portola, and EDC hosted by KROQ Music Director ‘Miles The DJ’ Anzaldo. Artists to be included on the show include Justice, Fred again.., Rüfüs Du Sol, LP Giobbi, ODESZA, Jamie xx and Jungle, Daft Punk, The Crystal Method, LCD Soundsystem, Fatboy Slim and The Chemical Brothers. Justice will do a guest DJ set on the launch episode on Saturday, October 5.
The show’s name “KROQ EQ” is a nod to equalization (EQ), a technique used in music production to adjust the frequency balance of an audio signal.
