D-Strong Returns To 102 Jamz To Lead Afternoons

DJ D-Strong DStrong 102 Jamz WJHM OrlandoAudacy Rhythmic Throwbacks “102 Jamz” WJHM Daytona Beach/Orlando FL has begun filling-out its airstaff with the addition of Dwight ‘DJ D-Strong’ Ricketts as afternoon host.

D-Strong began his career at the original iteration of the station in 2003 and remained until its flip to CHR “101.9 Amp Radio” WQMP in 2014. He then joined iHeartMedia Hip Hop “104.5 The Beat” W283AN/WTKS-HD2 in 2014, rising to Program Director in 2017 until being part of iHeart’s August layoffs. He is also the arena DJ/emcee for the NBA’s Orlando Magic, was Ciara’s tour DJ, and part of BET’s “106 & Park”.

He commented, “I am incredibly excited to return to 102 JAMZ, the station that launched my radio career. I look forward to not only being a part of this new chapter of the 102 Jamz legacy but also engaging with our listeners and giving back to the community that has supported me throughout my journey.”
