Al Levine Is On The Boss’ Scene

Al Levine On The Scene 106.1 WBLI Long Island 107.1 The BossPress Communications Classic Rock/Hits “107.1 The Boss” WWZY Long Branch/99.7 WBHX Tuckerton NJ has added Al Levine to host “The Boss Radio Hall of Fame” on Wednesday nights.

Levine’s addition completes the lineup revamp from earlier this month that saw Cane Peterson move from nights to afternoons and Ralphie Aversa add Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday nights to his Saturday night hosting role.

The new show will spotlight an artist, year or theme each week with “Al bringing a deep knowledge of music and the charts combined with his high energy delivery to bring it all to life”. He’ll also host occasional weekend shifts on the station. He most recently spent just shy of 30 years at Cox CHR 106.1 WBLI Patchogue NY where he was APD and spent time in both middays and afternoons. Prior to WBLI, Levine worked across New England at WTIC-FM Hartford, WZOU/WJMN Boston, WPRO-FM Providence, WFAN-FM and WQGN New London, and WLYQ Stamford.

Levine said, “I’m excited to be on board with this team! A lot of big talent on a station with a lot of style! I’m looking forward to hosting a special feature show on The Boss Wednesday nights!”
