Midwest Communications is expanding its holdings in the Kalamazoo MI market with the purchase of Rock 92.5 WZUU Mattawan and nearby Oldies “Cool 101” 100.9 WQXC-FM Allegan from Robert Brink’s Forum Communications for $625,000.
WZUU will join a Midwest cluster that already includes Hot AC “Hits 96.5” WZOX, Country “Win 98.5” WNWN, Variety Hits “106.5 Jack-FM” WVFM, News/Talk 590 WKZO/106.9 W295CL, and Adult R&B “The Touch” 1660 WTOU/95.5 W238AL. WQXC-FM is not attributed to the Kalamazoo market, similarly to Classic Hits “The Fat One” 930 WFAT/102.7 W274AQ Battle Creek.
