With the flip of Alternative “FM 101.9” WQMP Daytona Beach/Orlando to Rhythmic Throwbacks “102 Jamz“, James Steele is moving to sister Classic Hits “105.9 Sunny-FM” WOCL as APD/afternoon host.
Steele joined WQMP shortly after its flip to Alternative in February 2018 and hosted afternoons though its entire run. He had a previous stint at the station as Imaging Director/night host during its stint as CHR “101.9 Amp Radio” in 2014-15. Steele has also programmed Alternative “96X” WROX Norfolk VA and “103.3 The App” KTFM-HD2 San Antonio and worked on-air at WXYK Biloxi MS and in Melbourne and West Palm Beach FL.
Steele fills the APD/afternoon host position at WOCL that has been vacant since the passing of Anthony ‘Domino’ Lini in March.
