After last month’s passing of Kat Simons, Audacy AC’s “Mix 98.1” WTVR-FM Richmond and “101.3 2WD” WWDE Hampton/Norfolk have added Binky Lee to middays.
Binky will continue hosting afternoons on CHR “Q94” WRVQ Richmond and Rhythmic CHR “Z104” WNVZ Norfolk as she has since joining the company in January 2022. She previously spent fourteen years at iHeartMedia with time in middays at “Y93” KYYY Bismarck, afternoons at “XL 93” KKXL Grand Forks, and co-hosting mornings at “97.3 Radio Now” WRNW-FM Milwaukee.
Lee shared on Instagram, “There will never be another Kat Simons, but I’m truly honored that I was even considered for this position, and I know I’ll do her proud.”
