98.5 K253AN Sunset Valley/KTXX-HD2 has flipped to Regional Mexican Oldies “Leyendas 98.5“. Core artists are listed as including the likes of El Tigres del Norte, Selena, Marcos Antonio Solis, and Vicente Fernández.
99.3 KOKE-FM Thorndale becomes “Mexicanísima 99.3“. Positioning as “Rolotos y Diversión,” which translates to “Roots and Fun”, the station is featuring artists including Incotable, Los Ángeles Azules, Banda MS, Alejandro Fernandez, Julión Álvarez, and Christian Nodal.
1260 KTAE Elgin/101.9 K270CO Round Rock completes the trio of new launches with a move to Spanish Classic Hits “Magia 101.9“. KTAE is positioning as “80s, 90s y más” with core artists including Maná, Franco de Vita, Juanes, Alejandra Guzmán, and Luis Miguel.
The three new brands join Norsan’s existing duo of Regional Mexican “La Raza” on 104.9 KTXX-FM and 1530 KZNX Creedmoor/95.1 K236AY Westlake Hills and Spanish AC “Romantica 105.3” K287FG/KTXX-HD4.
The previous formats heard on those frequencies will remain available online-only with Red Dirt Country KOKE-FM moving from 99.3 and 98.5 and Sports “The Horn” from 1260/101.9.
