Audacy Gold CHR “B96” WBBM-FM Chicago will (re)introduce Eddie Volkman and Joe “JoBo” Bohannon to the station on Monday, April 1 at 7:00am for a foolish celebration of their legacy.
The duo hosted mornings together at the station from 1988 until 2008 outside of a seventh month stretch in 1994 where they were fired and then rehired. They then spent a brief time togteher in mornings at sister Classic Hits “K-Hits 104.3” WJMK. Volkman currently co-hosts afternoons with Hannah Brummer on Alpha Media’s three suburban Chicago “Star” branded Hot AC’s 102.3 WXLC Waukegan, 96.7 WSSR Joliet, and 105.5 WZSR Crystal Lake. Bohannon had been retired from radio.
