Saga Communications is selling 107.9 WNDN Chiefland FL to John Elliott’s Suncoast Radio for $150,000.
WNDN, which covers the areas west of Gainesville, is currently part of the Classic Rock “Wind-FM” trimulcast along with 92.5 WNDD Alachua/Gainesville and 95.5 WYND-FM Silver Springs/Ocala. The deal includes the WNDN tower site, which is also home to the buyer’s 940 WLQH Chiefland.
Suncoast Radio also operates Classic Country “Country Legends” on 940 WLQH/93.1 W226CI Chiefland and 1240 WZCC/96.3 W242CW Cross City FL.
Saga retains the WNDD/WYND-FM simulcast and Country “93.7 K-Country” WOGK Ocala in the Gainesville/Ocala market.
