Gary Hanna’s GCJH Inc is expanding on Cape Cod with the purchase of 1240 WBAS/101.5 W268CP West Yarmouth MA from the estate of Bob Bittner’s Bob Bittner Broadcasting for $130,000.
GCJH will begin operating WBAS/W268CP on Wednesday, February 14 as a simulcast of Classic Hits “X102.3” WGTX Truro. WGTX covers the northern tip of the cape, while WBAS/W268CP covers the western end around Hyannis and Yarmouth. The deal includes a $4,275 per-month LMA until closing, while the sellers will pay $1 per-year for their “The Memories Station” Oldies programming to be heard on WGTX-HD3.
