JD Garfield has announced his resignation as Program Director of Iliad Media Group Rhythmic CHR “Wild 101” KWYD Parma and Rock “99.1 I-Rock” K256CZ Boise/KQBL-HD2 Emmett ID.
In a posting to his e-mail list/blog, Garfield states that he is returning to Louisville KY for a position “that is out of radio, but not entirely.”
Garfield rejoined KWYD in June 2019 after a previous stint as PD from 2015 to 2017. In between he programmed Alpha Media CHR 99.7 WDJX Louisville. Garfield has also programmed in Bloomington and Champaign IL, Madison and Sheboygan WI, and Springfield MO during his career.
