After over a decade mostly in television sales, Dave Dodson is returning to programming as Director of Content for Townsquare Media Victoria TX.
Dodson was most recently at Morgan Murphy Media’s KAVU-TV Victoria and worked at television stations across Texas along with a a year at iHeartMedia Corpus Christi since transitioning from programming to sales. He previously held on-air and programming roles at KOUL Corpus Christi, WGZR Savannah, KKIX Fayettevile, and KEBC Oklahoma City. Townsquare operates CHR “Q92” KQVT, Variety Hits “98.7 Jack-FM” KTXN, Tejano “KLUB Tejano 106.9” KLUB, and Country 107.9 KIXS in Victoria.
Dodson succeeds Jim Kovacik, who had been overseeing programming for both Townsquare Lubbock and Victoria until departing earlier this month to join Houston Public Media as a producer. Townsquare is still searching for someone to oversee content in Lubbock.
