Townsquare Media Country 99.5 WKDQ Henderson KY/Evansville IN debuted “Travis & Melissa In The Mornings” today.
Travis Sams moves to mornings from afternoons to join incumbent co-host Melissa Brooks. Sams has been with Townsquare Evansville since 2014. He previously hosted middays at CHR “Kiss 106” WBKS and serves as cluster Promotions Director. Brooks joined the morning show last April after previously hosting afternoons at sister Rock “103 GBF” WGBF-FM as ‘Melissa Awesome’.
Sams takes the morning slot that had been held by Ryan O’Bryan for the past six years. O’Bryan, who also served as Brand Manager at WKDQ, departed earlier this month for a position outside the radio industry.
