Costa Media has rebranded Spanish CHR “LatinX 103.7” 1490 WCCM/103.7 W279DH Haverhill and 1570 WUBG/105.3 W287CW Methuen MA as “Exitos Boston“.
The station’s format remains as-is positioned as “La Mezcla de Boston” with a mix of Spanish Hip Hop, Salsa and Pop. The Boston Spanish CHR market has become more competitive with Gois Broadcasting’s “Mega” 890 WAMG moving it FM signal from the south-suburban 94.9 W235CS to the downtown 96.5 W243DC at the start of the year and iHeartMedia’s “Rumba 97.7” WZRM in-place.
The former “LatinX” brand launched in August 2021 when Jose Villafañe’s Costa Media began operating the unrelated Costa-Eagle Radio Ventures owned WCCM via LMA. Co-owned WUBG was added in 2022.
