Steve Hegwood’s Core Radio Group is converting its lease of 102.1 WXTG-FM Virginia Beach VA to an acquisition.
Core will pay $550,000 to acquire the station from Local Voice Media. The company originally filed to acquire the station in August 2020 but never closed on that deal after beginning to operate it via a $10,000 per-month Time Brokerage Agreement in July 2020.
