Thunder Associates sells Oldies 690 WELD Fisher, Country 101.7 WELD-FM Moorefield and Variety Hits “V103.7” WQWV Fisher WV to the Joshua Parsons led Save Our Station LLC in a deal where the station assets are sold for $24,750 and the real estate for $192,500.

Stu-comm Inc. will purchase Sports “ESPN 1240 The Boss” WTON and Classic Hits “Star 94.3” WTON-FM Staunton VA from High Impact Communications for $550,000. At closing both stations will convert to non-commercial station joining their statewide Adult Alternative network based at 91.9 WNRN Charlottesville. Guest Technology & Brokerage served as broker for the buyer.

Farmers National Bank of Griggsville’s GBI Communications has sold Classic Rock 97.5 WBBA-FM Pittsfield IL to Foxfire Communications Inc. for $322,000. Foxfire, which owns Country “Eagle 102.1” KJFM Louisiana MO, began operating WBBA-FM via Time Brokerage Agreement on Monday, October 2. GBI Communications had received WBBA-FM and Classic Country 1480 WJBM/104.7 W284DN Jerseyville IN as part of a legal settlement between DJ Two Rivers Radio Inc.’s David Fuhrer and Jack Hull in September 2021.

Westex Telco buys Positive Radio Networks’ Christian 104.1 KCKB Moran TX for $55,000. The station will join the company’s four stations in the nearby Abilene market and three Construction Permits.

Don Davis’ Vanguard Media will purchase Country 1400 KCHS Truth or Consequence NM from Frances Luna’s GPK Media LLC for $50,000. Davis already owns KCHS’s translator 101.9 K270CE Truth or Consequence.

American Family Association sells 91.1 WAXU Troy AL to Radio Training Network for $50,000. WAXU will join RTN’s “The Joy FM” Christian AC network upon closing.
