Loud Media is continuing its changes in Knoxville with the launch of 90s/2000s Hits “104.9 KVL” WKVL Greenback/Knoxville.
The launch follows the move of the station’s former Classic Hits “104.9 Lake-FM” WPLA format to 1400 WGAP/105.9 W250DJ Maryville as “Fun 105.9“. It also coincides with the station’s move from rimshotting Knoxville from the north of town to the south with 439w/361m.
Compass Media Networks’ Anna & Raven morning show remains on the 104.9 signal with the new format launch. 104.9 KVL also will add Gemini XIII’s The TJ Show for afternoons.
