Billed as “Classic Hip Hop for Vegas”, the new format positions KVGQ up against Audacy Rhythmic Hot AC “Q100.5” KXQQ-FM while flanking sister Hip Hop “Hot 97.5” KVEG Mesquite.
Rimshotting Las Vegas from the northeast, the former format had a 0.3 share in the July 2023 Nielsen Audio ratings. KXQQ was tied for sixth in the market with a 4.2 share, while KVEG was eleventh with a 2.8.
