Mike Kellar has exited mornings at Steel City Media Country “Q104” KBEQ Kansas City.
Kellar joined KBEQ in 2016 as afternoon host and moved to mornings the following year. He has been paired with Jenny Matthews since October 2019. Prior to joining KBEQ, Kellar co-hosted mornings and was Music Director at Zimmer CHR “Y107” KTXY Columbia MO from 2011-16 and has also held on-air roles at KCLQ Lebanon MO and in Peru IL.
Matthews and producer Joe ‘Tater’ Cavanagh remain in mornings. Program Director Todd Nixon told Country Aircheck there are “no plans yet on filling this position”.
