Derek Wolfe Departs 104.3 The Fan

Denver Sports 104.3 The Fan KKFN Bonneville DenverSports.comAfter just nine months in afternoons at Bonneville Sports “104.3 The Fan” KKFN Longmont/Denver, Derek Wolfe has exited the station.

The former Denver Broncos defensive lineman joined Darren ‘DMac’ McKee on “The Drive” last October after the station declined to renew Tyler Polumbus’ contract. Polumbus would quickly join KSE Media’s “Altitude 92.5” KKSE-FM to co-host from 12-3pm with Scott Hastings & Josh Dover.

Wolfe spent eight seasons with the Broncos from 2012-2020 before finishing his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens prior to joining KKFN. Wolfe said in an Instagram story, “Hello everyone! I wanted to share some news with you first. I have made the tough decision to step down as co-host of The Drive on the Fan due to persistent scheduling conflicts. It has been an incredible journey with my radio crew, and this choice was not easy to make. Lately, my passion for outdoor pursuits has taken me on an exciting and unexpected journey, prompting me to continue chasing my dreams. I genuinely appreciate your understanding and support throughout this process!”

KKFN has not yet revealed its plans for the afternoon show alongside McKee.
