John Caracciolo’s JVC Media has closed on its purchase of Soft AC “93.3 The Breeze” 1440 WLIM Medford/93.3 W227CL Port Jefferson NY from Michael Celenza’s Commercial Assets Inc. for $500,000.
With the closing, WLIM has begun simulcasting JVC’s Classic Hits “Big 98.1” W251BY Patchogue/WPTY-HD2 ahead of launching a new format. WLIM will become JVC’s sixth brand in Suffolk County joining a cluster that also includes “My Country 96.1” WJVC Center Moriches, Spanish Tropical “La Fiesta 98.5” WBON Westhampton, Conservative Talk “LI News Radio” 103.9 WRCN Riverhead, and Rhythmic CHR “Party 105.3” WPTY Calverton-Roanoke.
Broker on the transaction was Mark Jorgenson’s Jorgenson Broadcast Brokerage, Inc.
