Fort Myers Broadcasting Company has flipped Easy Listening “Easy 107.9” W300EF Naples/WAVV-HD2 Naples Park FL to Smooth Jazz.
The new “Smooth Jazz 107.9” is featuring programming from the Smooth Jazz Network.
The former Easy Listening format debuted in October 2021 to bring back the music previously heard on parent 101.1 WAVV by former owner Alpine Broadcasting Corporation after its 2019 move to a more standard Soft AC presentation.
WAVV-HD2 had a 0.2 share in the March 2023 Nielsen Audio ratings, while parent WAVV led the Fort Myers/Naples market with a 7.0 share.
