Opus Broadcasting Systems is growing its Medford OR cluster with the purchase of 97.7 KORJ Butte Falls from James Arata’s Threshold Communications for $105,000.
KORJ currently features a commercial-free mix of instrumental music branded as “97.7 The Breeze“. The station will become Opus’ sixth station in its cluster that also includes Rock “96.9 The Rouge” KROG Grants Pass, CHR “Hot 98.9” KRVC Hornbrook CA, Classic Hits “102.7 The Drive” KCNA Cave Junction, Regional Mexican “La Gran D” 610 KRTA Medford, and Silent 730 KEZX Medford.
A Time Brokerage Agreement to operate KORJ took effect on March 17.
