Cumulus Media has appointed Steve ‘Stash’ Smith as Program Director for Classic Rock 94.5 WXKR Port Clinton and Hot AC “Q105.5” WQQO Sylvania/Toledo OH. He will also host middays at WXKR.
Smith previously spent most of his career in Baltimore where he worked at Hearst’s “98 Rock” WIYY from 1988 to 2012 and then mornings at Classic Rock “100.7 The Bay” WZBA from 2016 to 2020. He has also hosted video content for the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens and tracked nights at Lightner Communications Classic Rock “Q94” WBXQ Altoona PA in 2016-18.
Stash fills the opening created by the exit of Russ Ryder in late 2022.
