NRG Media has flipped Classic Hits “Kool 95.9” WMQA-FM Minocqua/Rhinelander WI to AC “95.9 The Island“.
The station’s name comes from Minocqua’s nickname as “The Island City”. WMQA-FM is utilizing on-air talent from Local Radio Networks plus John Tesh’s “Intelligence For Your Life” in evenings. Scott King continues to serve as Program Director of WMQA-FM and Variety Hits “100.1 Jack-FM” WRHN Rhinelander. He also hosts afternoons at the latter.
