Trinity Communications, owner of “Iowa Catholic Radio Network“, has agreed to purchase Regional Mexican “La Ley 105.5” KDLS-FM Perry/Des Moines IA from Pedro Zamora’s Latin Broadcasting Corporation for $1.84 million.
Trinity and sister organization St. Gabriel Communications currently owns 1150 KWKY/94.5 K233BT Des Moines with the deal giving the group a second, stronger signal in the city. Iowa Catholic Radio is also heard on St. Gabriel’s 88.5 KIHS Adel and 90.9 KLOX Creston as well as two LPFM’s 95.7 KMFH-LP Oskaloosa and 103.5 KHFR-LP Keosauqua. St. Gabriel Communications also holds construction permits for five new non-commercial signals in Iowa and Wisconsin.
Zamora also owns Regional Mexican “La Z 1310” WDTW/107.9 W300DI Dearborn/Detroit MI.
