KMWX has assumed the programming that had been on co-owned “Lonestar 1280” KSLI since February 2020. KSLI is currently simulcasting KMWX. The station is positioning as “All Texas Red Dirt All The Time” and is featuring John Tesh’s Intelligence For Your Life in mornings.
KMWX registered a 2.3 share in the Spring 2022 Nielsen Audio ratings, while KSLI had a 0.0 share. The format flanks Townsquare’s Country 105.1 KEAN, which is currently tied for the market lead with a 7.8 share ahead of Cumulus Media’s 99.7 KBCY and its 4.7 share.
