Cox Media News/Talk 750 WSB Atlanta/95.5 WSBB Doraville GA has appointed Ken Charles as Director of Branding and Programming.
Charles stepped down in July as Brand Manager for News 1070 KNX/97.1 KNX-FM Los Angeles and Audacy VP/All News after deciding not to renew his contract. Charles joined KNX in 2015 after spending two decades at iHeartMedia and its predecessor companies with stints as National News/Talk/Sports Brand Manager, Sacramento Vice President of Programming, Miami Director of AM Programming, Houston Regional VP/Programming, and Director of Programming & News for WGST Atlanta and WSYR/WHEN Syracuse.
At WSB, Charles fills the opening created by Drew Anderssen’s move to Audacy’s 1080 KRLD Dallas in April.
